We’re looking for an Agronomist Intern to join our team in Arusha, Tanzania.

At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what matters! You will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture – providing you with the opportunity to learn in practice, the best agronomic practices, showcasing talent and grabbing experience.  

 

Your Challenge: 

Provide farmers with training on seed technology and good farming practices Conduct regular visits to farms and rural farmers to assess current agricultural practices and identify areas for improvement.       Site selection for demo planting, advice on soil testing, fertilization, pests and disease management.   Conduct both dough and harvesting field days.   Offer guidance on crop selection, planting and harvesting period.      Enhance the chain of seed distribution from distributors to farmers.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need  

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Crop Science or related field  Strong knowledge in crop cultivation techniques including planting, fertilizer applications, pests and disease management Excellent interpersonal/communication skills  Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
