Summary

Position Summary

The American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Coordinator, will be part of the Community Health and Wellness (CHW) team. This Coordinator will act to ensure compliance with the requirements of the AHA with regard to the Mid Coast Hospital Community Training Center. In addition, the Coordinator will ensure the smooth operations of the training center with regard to public relations, class scheduling, ordering and maintenance of materials, and instructor development. As part of the CHW, this role will be involved in other CHW programming and opportunities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Associate degree in Healthcare field, Bachelor’s degree preferred License/Certifications: Licensure or certification in healthcare in Maine. BLS and ACLS Instructor Certification preferred. Experience: Program Coordination preferred, AHA class instruction required. Educator experience. Additional Information
