The psychiatrist will help to treat newly diagnosed neurology patients suffering from a wide array of Neurological disorders in an outpatient setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The MD or DO, is responsible for: + Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with neurological conditions. + Providing psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate. + Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and primary care physicians. + Engaging in patient education and offering support to help individuals manage their mental health effectively. + Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in psychiatric care. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. + Strong communication skills. + Strong medical decision-making skills.
