Job Title: Senior Manager (UI/UX) - Platform Engineering

Position Overview:
The Senior Manager (UI/UX) will spearhead the creation and implementation of intuitive and impactful user experiences for our suite of enterprise web applications. This role calls for a visionary leader with a robust background in front-end development and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles. Reporting directly to the Director of Platform Engineering, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our company's reputation for innovative UI/UX design and product experience.
Key Responsibilities:Define the product and platform experience for the current and emerging offerings.Lead and nurture a team of top-tier UI/UX designers and front-end developers, fostering an environment of creativity and technical excellence.Strategize and execute the enhancement of user experience for our enterprise web applications, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and user expectations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and AI specialists, to integrate user feedback and create cohesive, user-centric design strategies.Implement and oversee best practices for UI/UX design, focusing on maximizing usability, accessibility, and user engagement.Drive the adoption of modern front-end technologies, design systems, advocating for responsive design, progressive enhancement, and performance optimization.Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration of new design methodologies and tools to elevate our UI/UX offerings.Leverage management experience to build and maintain a globally distributed team, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality deliverables.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years of experience in front-end development and UI/UX design for enterprise web applications, with a solid foundation in Angular, React, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.At least 7 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality projects.Proficient in modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), including Angular and/or React, as well as design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and prototyping software.A strong portfolio demonstrating successful UI/UX projects and leadership in design initiatives.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead teams and engage with stakeholders.A passion for continuous improvement and staying abreast of the latest UI/UX trends and best practices.Full stack experience will be a major asset
