Job Summary
The Lead Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of engineering projects while ensuring the successful delivery of solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, along with leadership experience, to guide and mentor junior engineers. The Lead Engineer will act as the primary point of contact for project-specific engineering tasks, contributing to design, implementation, and problem-solving. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and client requirements. The Lead Engineer will drive the technical direction of projects while ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the engineering team throughout the project lifecycle, from design to implementation and maintenance.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, ensuring the quality and efficiency of deliverables.
Develop engineering solutions and strategies that align with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the design and implementation of complex systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices.
Conduct technical reviews and audits of engineering plans, designs, and work products.
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues in a timely manner, escalating problems when necessary.
Ensure that engineering projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Maintain regular communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Document engineering processes, designs, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Software, or related field) from an accredited university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project lead capacity.
Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing engineering systems and solutions.
Strong proficiency in engineering design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of engineering principles, standards, and best practices in the relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) or relevant industry-specific certifications.
