WHO WE’RE SNIFFING FOR
As an AI Marketing Manager at BARK, you’ll harness the power of artificial intelligence to revolutionize how we market to dog lovers around the world. You’ll be responsible for developing AI-driven strategies that enhance our marketing campaigns, optimize customer engagement, and personalize our communication at scale. We’re looking for someone who can combine creativity, tech-savviness, and data-driven insights to ensure our marketing remains cutting-edge, delivering personalized experiences that make dogs and their people feel connected and cared for.
Your ability to integrate AI tools and methodologies into our marketing processes will help increase market share, deepen customer loyalty, improve our marketing efficiency, drive brand awareness, and deliver even more magical moments to dogs and their humans.
KEY DUTIES
AI-Driven Strategy:
Develop and implement AI-powered marketing strategies to drive personalized, data-driven campaigns. Leverage machine learning and predictive analytics to forecast customer behavior and optimize brand marketing efforts. Stay on top of emerging AI technologies and trends to keep BARK ahead in innovation and competitive advantage.Marketing Campaigns:
Plan and execute integrated, AI-enhanced marketing campaigns that align with business objectives. Use AI to automate and personalize customer touch points across all channels, improving customer experience and campaign performance. Analyze campaign results, optimizing in real time using AI-driven insights.Customer Personalization:
Design and implement AI tools to deliver hyper-personalized content to our customers across email, SMS, and digital ads. Build recommendation engines to suggest the perfect products and experiences for each dog based on their individual preferences and behaviors.Data & Analytics:
Utilize AI algorithms to mine customer data for insights that shape marketing strategies and tactics. Ensure continuous learning and improvement by analyzing the performance of AI tools and making adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to enhance the use of AI across marketing initiatives.Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, creative, and technology to align on marketing strategies and AI implementation. Present AI marketing strategies, campaign performance, and innovation opportunities to senior leadership. Act as a key advocate for AI and data-driven marketing across the organization.Brand Presence:
Oversee the use of AI in enhancing BARK’s digital presence, from website personalization to optimizing paid media efforts. Implement AI-driven content strategies to improve our online visibility, engagement, and customer satisfaction.EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years focusing on AI and machine learning technologies. Proven track record of integrating AI into marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and business results.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of AI and machine learning tools and how to apply them in marketing. Expertise in digital marketing, content, DTC and analytics platforms (e.g., Shopify, GA, Tableau, Adobe, Monday, Ziflow, etc) Creative problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively. Passionate about dogs (and maybe an AI-loving dog owner yourself!).ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTES
Data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams. Strong analytical skills and experience with data modeling and AI tools. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and innovation.This position is a full-time salaried position located at our New York City office. The base salary range for this position is $124,700- $171,413
This position is eligible for equityThis compensation range is based on BARK's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting and may be adjusted in the future. Actual pay will depend on location, internal equity, and your individual experience, education, skills, and expertise.
