NetImpact Strategies is seeking an AI Developer to join our team, in support of a federal client.

AI Developer is innovative and results-driven, with expertise in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI algorithms to solve complex problems. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, he should have a strong foundation in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Experienced in working with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and reinforcement learning, he should be adept at data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to improve AI model performance. Passionate about leveraging AI technologies, he should drive business innovation and create scalable, intelligent systems. With strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, he should excel in collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

Develop AI Models: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, for various applications like predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and automation. Data Preprocessing: Perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for training AI models, ensuring data quality and relevance for model performance. Algorithm Development: Research and implement algorithms, including deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and optimization techniques, to solve complex problems. Model Training and Evaluation: Train and evaluate machine learning models using relevant datasets, applying metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score to assess model performance and fine-tune hyperparameters. Performance Optimization: Optimize AI models for better performance, scalability, and efficiency by reducing computational costs and enhancing execution speed. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate them into AI-based solutions. AI Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research papers, and advancements in AI and machine learning to continuously improve model accuracy and develop innovative solutions. Model Deployment: Deploy trained AI models into production environments, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems, and monitor their real-time performance. Documentation and Reporting: Document AI models, development processes, and results, and provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations. Troubleshoot and Improve Models: Troubleshoot issues with AI models in production and continuously work on refining and improving models based on new data, feedback, and business needs.  Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or related fields. Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., machine learning, deep learning) may be preferred for advanced roles. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in AI or machine learning development, with a proven track record of creating AI-based applications or models. Practical experience in developing and deploying AI models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, or MXNet. Expertise in working with large datasets, applying machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, and predictive modeling. Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and experience in integrating machine learning solutions with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
