AI/ ML Architect
Position Description:

CGI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Solution Architect to join our team. Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action to meet the needs and balance the interests of our clients, shareholders, communities and one another. As an AI/ML Solution Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and lead end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions that leverage cloud data architectures. You will be responsible for translating business needs to AI/ML Solutions and Architectures as well as understanding team/resourcing/timeline, leading teams, conducting assessments, defining roadmaps, and providing technical leadership across multiple accounts.

This position is located in Dallas or Austin, Texas. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
How you'll make an impact:
Lead teams of 2-10+ technical resourcesManage facilitated working sessions with technical executives and expertsConduct hands-on development, configuration, or system setup for early stage POCs/POVsPresent technology architecture and solution overviews to executive-level audiencesCreate presentation materials to simplify complex ideas into digestible topicsProvide leadership across multiple accounts and support sales and business development activitiesApply technical aptitude and design patterns across multiple industry verticals and use casesConduct assessments and define enterprise roadmaps for enabling AIParticipate in hiring resources and coach and mentor junior staffDrive early-stage AI business development, RFP responses, and incremental work for both commercial and public sector clientsEffectively deal with ambiguity and draw out key requirements and constraintsDesign and lead AI solution delivery and related technologiesProvide thought leadership around modern AI tools and platformsUnderstand approaches and challenges around AI for organizations at varying maturitiesEvangelize AI within CGI by creating upskilling programs, thought leadership pieces, and participating in knowledge sharing across COEs

Technical Skills:
Exposure to data ingestion, wrangling, and ETL tools (SQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.) Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks Lakehouse, etc.) Expertise across modern cloud AI platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, Dataiku, etc.) Deep knowledge of Data Science and related technologies (Python, R, scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, etc.) Deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI (Gen AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Applied StatisticsFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BIFamiliarity with version control system like Git, DevOps, etc. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, or equivalentDesired Qualifications:Ability to provide vision and high-level strategies for clientsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800- $209,100.
