Title:
AI/ML EngineerKBR is seeking a highly qualified AI/ML Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.
Responsibilities:
Expertise and experience in developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing and predicting future events,
Turning those algorithms into AI models and systems, and then testing, verifying, validating, and maintaining them.
AI/ML engineers use large data sets to research, develop, and generate algorithms that can learn, assess analyze, and organize data, execute tests,
Optimize the learning process to help develop high-performance ML models.
Required Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of AI/ML expertise and experience in developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing and predicting future events, turning those algorithms into AI models and systems, and then testing and maintaining them.Ability to demonstrate use large data sets to research, develop and generate algorithms that can learn and assess, analyze, and organize data, execute tests, and optimize the learning process to help develop high performance ML models. Active TS/SCI with CI polygraphBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related quantitative science fieldDesired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programsExperience with cloud development processesExperience with industry system engineering practicesStrong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership.Knowledge of NRO Mission Operations DirectorateBasic Compensation: $109,560.00 - 164,340.00
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
