Job Title: AI/ML Engineer
Job Description
This position is for an AI/ML Engineer looking for new challenging problems. You will support the development of AI/ML algorithms in a multitude of disciplines from object detection/classification, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and large language models. Additionally, we have a team of excellent researchers and software developers who are eager to mentor and teach their knowledge.
Responsibilities
+ Work as part of a small team consisting of developers and researchers to implement machine learning algorithms to solve a broad set of challenges for various customers.
+ Analyze large multi-domain datasets such as images, text, and/or graph data to identify statistically relevant features and build models that provide analysts with actionable data.
+ Use cloud services to train and deploy ML models.
+ Review relevant publications to understand and apply cutting-edge concepts to defense and commercial applications.
+ Write technical documentation supporting code, program capabilities, and user-guides
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications, data science, and/or algorithm development.
+ Experience with data science/ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
+ Knowledge of unsupervised and/or supervised machine learning techniques.
+ Experience developing algorithms based on statistical analysis.
+ Analyzing large datasets and building models to perform inference.
+ Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (preferred).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years minimum experience, or Master's/PhD with less experience.
+ Proficiency in object detection, language processing, imagery analysis, and algorithmic software.
+ Knowledge of deep learning, large language modeling, and statistical analysis.
Work Environment
The work environment is on-site in Aurora, with a casual dress code. The company supports the DOD, Aerospace, AIML, and the national security community. It offers a small company feel with opportunities for development, feedback, and professional growth. The company is expanding and looking to add 75 people to the team this year across both offices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
