Description

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will design and develop intelligent systems that can learn from data, make predictions, classify objects, and generate insights. Your primary responsibility is to create and validate high-quality analytic algorithms focused on realizing mission use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and train AI/ML models using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.

- Conduct feature engineering and feature selection using techniques such as dimensionality reduction, data augmentation, and hyperparameter tuning

- Collaborate with Data Engineers to prepare data for AI/ML model development, ensuring that the data is in a suitable format for model training Implement

AI/ML algorithms, including design, training, testing, verification and validation activities

- Implement data pipelines enabling retrieval of data from federated data systems, such as cloud storage or on-premises databases

- Develop and implement monitoring systems to ensure AI/ML model reliability and performance, using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic

- Implement algorithms required to perform AI/ML model development functions, such as data quality checks and monitoring processes

- Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in AI/ML, including advancements in deep learning, natural language processing, and computer

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related STEM field

- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or similar roles, with a focus on developing intelligent systems

- Strong understanding of the AI/ML development process

- Proficiency in AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MXNet, Keras)

- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, JSON/XML, structured and unstructured query languages)

- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

- Eligible to receive a Secret/Top Secret clearance in a DoD environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.75 - $84.50/hr.
