Job Description:

   

We are currently seeking highly qualified, self-motivated interns to accelerate research towards new applications, core methodologies and technologies in AI/ML at Hewlett Packard Labs for 3-6 month in Ireland.
 

Hewlett Packard Labs is an international research organization with its headquarters and largest facility located in Palo Alto. The Artificial Intelligence Research Lab focuses on researching and developing technologies, architectures and software to develop cutting edge solutions in key areas of Deep Learning and Machine Learning. You will have an opportunity to work with Machine Learning experts who have made multiple successful products and will get guidance and coaching in different areas including software engineering, hardware optimizations, data pipelining and innovations from latest AI research to bring hardened Deep Learning solutions to the real world.
 

This is growing team at HPE in which you will be building the software, and applications for Neural Networks and Machine Learning.
In particular our focus is on constuction of digital twin technologies for Data centres involving ML model design, Model optimization, real-time streaming data, and parameter estimation in complex systems. You should be proficient in pytorch and have a keen interest in modern modelling methods (attention, KAN networks etc).

Requirements and Educational Skills:

Pursuing or recently completed Ph.D. degree (or other degree with significant research and innovation experience) in a relevant discipline (e.g. machine learning, computer science, electrical engineering, math, statistics, etc.)3-6 month availability for the internship and enrolled in an universityTrack record of world-class innovative contributions and ideas in machine learning.Experience with innovative solution development, such as developing proofs-of-concept, first-of-a-kind solutions, and/or technology transfer.

Technical and Soft Skills:

Experience in deep learning research is requiredStrong programming skills and experience with PythonSoftware development experience in Deep LearningExperience in Deep Learning and Machine Learning frameworks (in particular PyTorch) – requiredDemonstrated ability to generate, frame, and carry out leadership research as shown, for example, by papers published in top-tier conferences or journalSelf-motivated, pro-active, with leadership qualitiesAbility to work with ambiguityDemonstrated effective communication and collaboration skills

Time series forecasting experienceNvidia omniverse experienceControl theory and in particular dymola experience
