AI Sr. Solution Engineer

The Digital manufacturing organization is launching our digital transformation to create an organization designed for rapid delivery by implementing agile ways of working (SAFe) and digital innovation. A core component of this transition is assuring we have the digital capabilities and an effective organizational structure to deliver business value and innovative digital solutions rapidly. The Digital PGS E2E Networks team supports PGS manufacturing sites by designing, architecting, prototyping, developing, deploying, and supporting AI/ML and advanced analytics solutions, including data management and infrastructure for the PGS business. We are seeking an AI Senior Solution Engineer to enhance PGS Manufacturing operations through the application of AI and advanced analytics. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining AI solutions, leading AI data scientists, data engineers and AI Foundation engineers, and ensuring quality delivery in accordance with best practices and compliance guidelines. The role also involves implementing scalable AI/ML and data mining solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams and Pfizer Business teams from initiation to completion. **ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES** + Set objectives and manage highly complex AI and Advanced Analytics projects. + Lead and allocate people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside direct authority to address the business problems or enhance the business processes. + Share innovation and AI knowledge across functions and enhance institutional knowledge management. + Assess AI/ML talent needs, identify potential talent within the organization, and hold managers accountable for developing diverse teams. + Lead PGS E2E teams to implement AI strategic direction and influence senior management decisions. + Responsible for managing AI solutions' architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Understand business requirements to recommend AI/ML solutions and ensure successful technology implementation. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in Computer Science or a technology-related field. + Proven expertise in leading AI/ML teams, implementing best practices, and developing AI deployment strategies. + Proficiency in Data Science, Generative AI, Data Management, and data modeling. + Strong background in enterprise Business Analytics solutions. + Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes. + Extensive business knowledge in Pharma Manufacturing and an understanding of the latest technologies to anticipate business requirements. + Strong people management experience, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + A Master's degree and experience as an AI Solution Consultant. + Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in manufacturing technical lead roles. + Experience in leading cross-functional teams with AI/ML hands-on expertise. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent listening skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. + Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change. **Other Job Details** + Last day to apply: Feb 20, 2025 + Work Location Assignment: Must be able to work from assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,100.00 to $225,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
