Job Title: AI&T Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling spacecraft hardware, soldering and PCB inspections, harness builds, testing of components and assemblies, and following spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns. We are looking for candidates excited about being part of a close-knit team, passionate about space systems, and eager to continuously learn and improve.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble spacecraft hardwarePerform soldering and PCB inspectionsBuild harnessesTest components and assembliesFollow spacecraft through environmental testing campaignsOperate torque wrenches and similar tools to product specificationsObtain IPC certifications for wire harnessing and soldering assembliesAssemble and solder components onto PCBsInstall project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometersTroubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems with engineersSupport Propulsion Module and Spacecraft TestingRead and follow drawings and written instructionsEssential Skills10 years of experience in relevant fieldsExperience with soldering, crimping, and harness buildExperience with electronics testing and board repairGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsExperience with CAD software, soldering, and harness fabricationExperience with hand toolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Visio, Excel, and/or CAD Drawing softwareExperience with fabrication and testingExperience with non-conformance resolutionNASA Certifications for soldering, crimping, and harnessesExperience with harness fabricationExperience with vacuum chambersGood time-management skillsWork Environment

This role is based in a cleanroom environment. The candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb a 13-foot ladder. The company offers a 401k matching program, full benefits including education reimbursement, and is shut down from Christmas to New Years. Employees receive 2 weeks of PTO, with the possibility of 3 weeks based on experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
