We are looking for a skilled Tech Lead to join us on our journey to scale up our in-house AI startup, working with cutting-edge generative AI tools and technologies to deliver transformative new products and services. What you would do as our AI Tech Lead 
You will be a Technical Lead in an agile, cross-functional team, working closely with the team lead to build applications and services utilizing generative AI while guiding the team in modern development practices across cloud, backend, and frontend development.

We are an agile DevOps team, fully cloud-native, working with multiple cloud providers and developing applications using modern design patterns such as microservices. Reliability, security, and observability are core values, Developer Experience (DevEx) is important to us, and we actively explore the use of generative AI tools to support our development.

We have already built and launched multiple generative AI products, leveraging LLMs, speech, vision, and embedding models, as well as RAG-based and other architectures, and we continuously explore new and emerging technologies.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in bridging technology with business—interfacing with multiple stakeholders, business leaders, and product owners across the entire ASSA ABLOY organization. Your role will help them understand the potential of generative AI and support them in scoping AI-driven projects.
You would also:

Lead and mentor the team with your deep technical expertise in cloud, backend, and frontend development Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest advancements in AI technologies
 

The Skills And Experience You Need
We are looking for someone who:

Has extensive experience designing both application and cloud architectures (Azure or AWS). Develops and maintains scalable microservices and APIs. Builds secure, high-performance, and reliable solutions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions effectively. Brings hands-on expertise in DevOps and testing practices. Has a solid track record of developing full-stack applications in the cloud, with bonus points for experience with Python and React. Is skilled in leading and organizing DevOps teams in an agile environment. Has experience mentoring and supporting junior team members. Is fluent in both spoken and written English. Is curious about generative AI—ideally, you have already done development in this area or dedicated time to learning about it. Curiosity and interest in generative AI are highly valued.
