Your main task will be to develop and support strategies that improve the company's financial performance, ensuring alignment with risk tolerance and supporting long-term growth. In addition, you will prepare comprehensive and actionable analysis for the portfolio management team and other teams, covering interest rate risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, non-financial risks, and capital. This will help optimize the asset and liability management of our life insurance company, supporting its long-term financial stability and profitability. To perform this work you will also support the development of the ALM model and tools as well as assist the actuarial function with ALM-related topics for PBR, CFT, and model assumptions. In addition, you will identify and report trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management for informed decision-making.

2. Strategic Asset Allocation: Assisting in the development and maintenance of the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) framework. This will involve ensuring that the framework aligns with the company's risk and return objectives. Working closely with asset class specialists, you will analyze and assess different asset classes and their risk-return characteristics. You will also consider the impact on liability and surplus positions, as well as capital generation.

3. Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models that project and stress test the impact of different scenarios on the company's assets and liabilities. This will include providing accurate financial forecasts and insights to support strategic planning and risk management efforts. This will include extending the ALM model to address the scenarios being tested by modifying the model, writing requirements, and model testing and incorporating relevant changes into the production model.
