Transform how people keep up with the world and work with the people who crafted the intelligent assistant that helps millions of people get things done — just by asking. **Description** The Siri UI/UX team is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to develop Siri’s next generation of natural interaction on some of Apple's most popular devices. This role requires someone with expertise in developing, launching, maintaining, and extending products. Ideal candidates have managed a high-output engineering team previously. They should be proficient in development best practices, comfortable working on large code bases, able to build tools and frameworks, and able to balance multiple projects and deliverables. We value strong technical skills and the ability to successfully multi-task. Be a part of an impactful, innovative team making a difference. **Minimum Qualifications** + 3 years of software engineering management experience + Strong expertise in one programming language + Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with excellent expertise in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design. + Expertise in Objective-c or Swift **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent + Knowledge of SwiftUI and willingness to learn more + Experience with performance engineering, analysis, and on-device optimization + Have contributed to shipping platform/products to production and supported/extended them post-launch + Strong communication skills to work well with cross-functional engineering teams **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
