The Siri Developer Platform team build new Developer Tools and API's to power Siri Apple Intelligence Features. The team play a key role in designing and developing easy to use, scalable and intuitive API's and developer tools for the next generation of Siri features.
**Description**
The Siri Developer Platform Team is looking for an outstanding engineer to help build our next generation conversation system. The team brings together understanding, execution and response to enable complex voice interactions. You should have an eye toward great user experiences, developer API design and system architecture. This is a highly cross functional group. You must be able to collaborate with specialized teams across AI/ML and Apple's software engineering organization. Be passionate about the product, and enjoy learning new technologies. **Minimum Qualifications**
+ M.S. in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience with 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
+ Experience with C/C++, Java, Swift, Objective-C
+ Strong in Computer Science fundamentals, software engineering principles, and development methodologies
+ Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
+ Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
**Key Qualifications**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in building production quality developer frameworks and SDK’s
+ 5+ years of experience in iOS or macOS development
+ Excellent software design and programming skills in Swift/Objective-C and Python
+ Experience working with one or more scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash etc.).
+ Experience shipping code on device
+ Experience designing, building, deploying and maintaining distributed systems

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
