Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Air Compressor Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment both in the field and in the shop. The ideal candidate will have advanced mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and assist other technicians as needed.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on equipment, including replacing filters, oil, valves, belts, and service parts.Check equipment for air and oil leaks or related problems.Clean up after each service visit and document work completed.Report maintenance and repair activities to customers.Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment in the field.Provide assistance to other technicians as needed.Assist and coordinate with the pick-up and delivery of parts for required work.Undergo Rotary & Compressed Air System training.Essential SkillsAdvanced mechanical aptitude.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High level understanding and application of special tools.Electrical component troubleshooting knowledge.Proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.Basic computer and wireless communication device skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with compressors, generators, and air compressors.Knowledge of Sullair, Ingleson Rand, and Doosan air compressors.Experience with mobile air compressors.Diesel engine repair skills, including diesel generator and diesel maintenance.Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted.Experience with test/measuring equipment preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working both in the shop and in the field, performing service calls to various job sites. The company provides a vehicle, phone, and computer for work-related tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
