Responsibilities You will conduct visual and audible examination of equipment components, by applying prescribed test procedures and equipment. You will conduct examinations, diagnose malfunctions and make repairs to HVAC systems and the analog or direct digital control systems used in complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration's systems. You will determine the best method for correcting malfunctions; and skill to make repairs to a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will check the temperature of the cooling units; the temperatures of the liquid and suction lines; and the running time of the various mechanism. Serving as working leader over at least three ACEM employees engaged in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of commercial/industrial air-conditioning and heating/ventilation systems and system components. 2.) Exercising leadership skills to mentor, demonstrate new techniques and instruct employees in a wide range of complex repairs/troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems including but not limited to testing, fabricating, brazing, rip-out/reinstallation, and operation of system components. 3.) Reporting to supervisor on status and progress of work and causes for work delays.
