\nSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
\nPay Rate: $23 - $25 (Depending on experience)
\nCandidate MUST have one year of Cargo wise and Air Export Experience.
Position Overview:
\nWe are seeking an experienced Air Export Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience with CargoWise and Air Export operations, with a proven ability to manage export documentation, customer communication, and process efficiency.
Interviews will be conducted over the phone.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\tCandidate MUST have one year of Cargo wise and Air Export Experience.\n\n\nFile Management:
\n\n\n\tOpen and maintain export files with complete documentation, including HBL, MBL, P/L, C/I, ITN filings, and other relevant records.\n\tPerform credit checks in compliance with company policies and escalate irregularities.\n\tSend draft BOLs to agents and customers for approval.\n\tEnsure all internal communications, cost quotes, and sell rates are recorded in job files.\n\tMaintain accurate, tidy, and up-to-date filing (physical and electronic).\n\tDispatch pre-alerts for air shipments (day before uplift) and ocean shipments (two days after departure).\n\n\nCustomer and Vendor Communications:
\n\n\n\tMonitor and address emails from overseas offices, vendors, and customers promptly.\n\tRespond to all customer inquiries and issues within the same working day.\n\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and service providers by maintaining professional communication standards.\n\n\nOperational Procedures:
\n\n\n\tUpdate export statuses and notify overseas agents and customers upon departure.\n\tEnsure timely couriering of original documents.\n\tAssist customers with booking confirmations, pickup schedules, and departure details.\n\tIndependently resolve customer issues and provide updates through delivery confirmation with proof of delivery (POD).\n\n\nPickup Arrangements:
\n\n\n\tRequest and negotiate competitive pickup rates.\n\tMaintain effective communication with carriers and vendors for scheduling.\n\tKeep all stakeholders informed of pickup schedules.\n\n\nInvoice Processing:
\n\n\n\tMaximize file profitability while being cost-conscious.\n\tVerify and update cost and sell rates in the system.\n\tIssue invoices to customers within five days of shipment departure.\n\tAddress and resolve finance-related matters promptly, including vendor and client invoices.\n\n\nQualifications:
\n\n\n\tRequired: At least 1 year of CargoWise experience and Air Export operational knowledge.\n\tStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette.\n\tAbility to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.\n\n\nBenefits:
