What you’ll be doing

As our Air Import Agent you’ll play a significant role in overseeing the air import operations from our facility close to Glasgow Airport. Responsibilities will include:Creating, managing and maintaining the movement of imported Air freightLiaising with airlines and DHL offices for Air freight planning and coordinationEnsuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliantAdhering to Customs Compliance procedures and documentationBeing a customer point of contact for updates and addressing their enquiriesLiaising directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve issues as they ariseDevelop internal/external customer relations to grow existing businessFollow up on growth opportunities using Quoteshop

About you

Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is essential for this role. You’ll also have:Knowledge of exports/imports and related processesIdeally experience with HMRC proceduresOffice/administration experienceStrong organisation and communication skills The ability to work cross-functionally and with multiple projects simultaneouslyA high attention to detail and accuracy
