Position: Air Import Coordinator Core Responsibilities & Duties: Ensure export processes are completed in compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures Work within the Aviation Vertical AOG Operations team to complete shipments from start to finish Review and identify areas to maximize profitability Maintain and develop customer relationships Ensure all billing is carried out within a timely fashion and monitor input of purchase costs into the system to enable accurate billing and profit reporting Ensure quotations are responded to in a timely fashion dependent on customer requirements Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames Other duties as assigned Job Requirements & Qualifications: Import experience essential Proven industry experience Solid background in US Customs law and procedures Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Dangerous Goods Compliant an advantage The ability to work proactively using own initiative Proven communication skills, both written and verbal Previous experience dealing with a varied customer base Capacity to build strong relationships Ability to consider several possible options and decide on most appropriate method IT skills to an appropriate level Excellent process and planning skills Strong commercial awareness; Understands impact of actions Knowledge of Cargo Wise preferred
