Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an Air Import Gateway Coordinator to join their team. As an Air Import Gateway Coordinator, you will be part of the operations team supporting air import services. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Air Import Gateway Coordinator
**Location:** Torrance, CA
**Pay Range:** $25/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Oversee the work of the regional or national air import gateway staff and prepare daily gateway deconsolidation plans.
+ Coordinate work of warehouse and drayage resources to achieve targeted results.
+ Communicate with origin and destination internal customers to ensure smooth operations.
+ Assist in preparing for and conducting gateway conference calls and meetings.
+ Support business process improvement initiatives at the gateway.
**What's Needed?**
+ College degree or equivalent professional experience.
+ Demonstrated airfreight industry knowledge.
+ Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly.
+ Competency with MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
+ Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills.
