Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Los Angeles site is looking for a new Air Logistics Gateway Operations Specialist to join our Air Logistics team. **Your Role** Reporting to the Area Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Manager you will be responsible for timely, cost-effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Export Gateway department as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. You will be responsible for processing of Master Air Waybill consolidations, set trade-lanes encompassing all aspects of the Advance Travel Authorization process. **Your Responsibilities** + Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrity + Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations + Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in theregion + Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations + Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport, constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process + Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities + Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers + Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirements + Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product and company goals + Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of reporting tools + Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency + Support pricing team on rate quotes **Your Skills and Experiences** + 1+ years' experience with the air gateway + 1+ years' experience in customer service + Ability to report onsite 5 days per week + Must travel for business purposes **Good Reasons to Join** At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
