Your Role Reporting to the Area Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Manager you will be responsible for timely, cost-effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Export Gateway department as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. You will be responsible for processing of Master Air Waybill consolidations, set trade-lanes encompassing all aspects of the Advance Travel Authorization process. Your Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrityPrepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidationsInteract and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the\r\nregionArrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidationsEnsure timely processing and delivery to the airport, constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation processTrack & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularitiesContribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customersMaintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirementsMeet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product and company goalsResponsible for daily updating and monitoring of reporting toolsUnderstand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiencySupport pricing team on rate quotes Your Skills and Experiences 1+ years' experience with the air gateway1+ years' experience in customer serviceAbility to report onsite 5 days per weekMust travel for business purposes Good Reasons to Join At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
