Overview TRC is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to join our Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability practice in California. This individual may report to our Los Angeles, Bakersfield, San Francisco, or Sacramento offices with the potential to work from various locations within the state. The position requires the ability to maintain key client relationships, strong air quality technical capabilities, project management experience, a strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Responsibilities Lead air quality compliance, permitting, and related projects for chemicals, pharmaceutical, forest products, refinery, power, oil and gas, data centers, and other industrial clients located in California. Support our existing infrastructure, power, and multi-media compliance groups’ clients. Serve as a technical resource on air quality permitting programs, including regulatory analyses of facility operations; major and minor source air permit applications under NSR, PSD, Title V, and state-level regulations; and NESHAP MACT compliance programs. Meet client needs via meetings, proposal development, maintaining client relationships, and passionate client service. Be part of project teams to provide exceptional project deliverables related to air quality permitting and compliance in an efficient and timely manner. Work with other TRC project managers and leaders across the national Air Quality practice on strategic pursuits within the company, region, and in the air quality arena. Qualifications Qualifications BS or MS in a physical science. Chemical, environmental, civil or other engineering preferred. PE license or ability to obtain is preferred. 5 years+ of environmental, air quality compliance, and permitting experience, including programs such as Title V, New Source Review, Air Quality permitting, MACT, and EPA Toxic Release Inventory. Collaborative experience with the California Air Resources Board (CARB), as well as District permitting programs, including SCAQMD, BAAQMD, MDAQMD, SDAPCD, SJVAPCD, and others. Experience with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) desired. Project management experience preferred. Air toxics compliance experience including AB 1807 - Toxics Air Contaminant Identification and Control, Air Toxic “Hot Spots” AB2588, SCAQMD Rule 1401, BAAQMD Regulation 2, Rule 5, etc. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Experience working with GHG’s and sustainability projects is a plus. California Accidental Release Prevention Program (CalARP) experience desired. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
