About the role 

As Product Designer II, you will help identify and solve hurdles for the Airbase by Paylocity user groups within the Product organization. You will team up closely with cross-functional teams, including UX researchers and developers, to gather insights, iterate on designs, and ensure seamless implementation. You will craft wireframes, prototypes, and align design solutions with user needs and business goals. Additionally, you will proactively contribute to our team culture by contributing your expertise, participating in design discussions, and fostering a team up and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

Interact with customers to grasp their pain points around how they spend money and come up with solutions to solve them   Plan and execute user testing of your designs   Proactively build relationships with stakeholders across different teams or departments, fostering a network of associations within the organizationWork closely with PMs, engineers and Customer Success to define the user experience we deliver throughout the product from initial definition to launch   Design workflows and interactions that are simple and easy to use   Communicate your design thoughts and ideas through wireframes, mockups, and hi-fidelity visual designs   Take ownership and drive small- to medium-sized projects, demonstrating creative and evaluative thinking in organizing project setups, timelines, and needs 

Required Experience:  

At least 3-5 years of experience using design system patterns to create engaging, multi-platform user experiences at an enterprise level organization or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong body of work In-depth knowledge of workflow designHas knowledge of HTML and CSS, along with proficiency in popular design tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative CloudAdvanced in one or more of the following areas and competent in another: User Research, Product Design, UI Development, and UX WritingExperience working in an agile software development environment, working on/with cross-functional teams to deliver a product user experienceDemonstrated ability to deliver and iterate on valuable user experiencesEffectively communicates design thinking and product strategy with the team and stakeholders that deliver upon business outcomesExperience with web and mobile application designcomprehension of the trade-offs involved in design tools and techniques Attention to detail especially to tiny interaction details that delight users
