**Job Title: Avionics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and installing avionics and electrical systems, assisting with complex installation tasks, and performing various other duties related to aircraft avionics. The role involves working on Airbus EC 135 and EC130, as well as a variety of other rotary wing aircraft. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate and/or install basic avionics and electrical systems. + Assist with more complex installation tasks. + Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interior to facilitate avionics installation or repairs. + Complete light sheet metal fabrications as needed. + Assist with wiring harness maps or mock-ups. + Complete wiring harness fabrication and installation. + Perform antenna and coax installations. + Complete or assist with OHM and power checks. + Complete or assist with ground checks. + Terminate wires. **Essential Skills** + Experience with avionic installations. + Knowledge of avionics systems and schematics. + Ability to fabricate and install avionics and electrical systems. + Proficiency in wiring harness fabrication and installation. + Experience with antenna and coax installations. + Ability to perform OHM and power checks. + Experience with aircraft interior disassembly and reassembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working on Bell helicopters and Airbus. + Light sheet metal fabrication skills. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity to work in a veteran-owned business that provides UPMC health insurance.
