Job Description

The Engine Mechanic troubleshoots, performs maintenance, and repairs aircraft engines and related aircraft components.
 

Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problemsPerform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required Remove / install / replace aircraft engines and accessoriesPerform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredAssist with performing complete engine runsOperate ground support equipmentAssist with off-aircraft component repairPerform mechanical/ electrical removals and installationsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate 5 years of experience on heavy aircraft maintenanceExperience in A/C turbine engine maintenance Experience on either corporate or commercial jet aircraft (preferred)Tug qualified (preferred)Forklift qualified (preferred)Ground Support Equipment qualified (preferred)Basic PC skills
