The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. **Role Description:** The Aircraft H-60 Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating aircraft maintenance and production activities for the H-60 aircraft. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring all aircraft are safe, reliable, and properly configured to perform missions to meet customer requirements. While maintaining a collaborative and engaging workforce, the supervisor provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel and ensures compliance with safety procedures, technical manuals, and company policies. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the supervisor ensures the scheduling and coordination of inspection requirements of maintenance activities while leading mechanics under the direction of the Site Manager and Director-Manager of Maintenance. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise the site work centers of maintenance, production control, ground support equipment, and avionics. + Prepare specialized plans for supporting aircraft maintenance. + Reviews all maintenance records for deferred discrepancies and provides updates to ensure the aircraft are available for missions in a timely manner. + Focused on meeting the FMC target of the site IAW the program requirements. + Provide technical guidance about assigned aircraft to maintenance personnel performing aircraft task/duties. + Provide daily assignments to mechanics to support daily schedule. + Works with production control and quality managers to ensure established procedures are followed. + Ensures the WASS program standard operating procedures are understood and followed by all maintenance personnel. + Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all DoS, WASS maintenance housekeeping, and company safety regulations. + Ensure the MIS system is updated correctly, and within PWS required timelines. + Communicate with management on any problems within the work area. + Provide daily aircraft and personnel status to senior management. + Ensure component records are updated and follow up on all outstanding demands. + Ensure controlled exchanges for components are updated in the MIS and documentation is completed. + Manage the phase flow to ensure aircraft remain available to support the J.21 requirements. + Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy. + Additional duties as required. \#LI-MZ1 Qualifications: **Required:** + High School diploma or GED. + Current FAA issued mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Power Plant ratings. + Minimum 10 years of direct maintenance experience as an aircraft mechanic on the H-60 aircraft. + Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance. + Knowledge and previous experience working on phase or heavy maintenance on H-60 aircraft. + Knowledge of Army aviation maintenance manual 95-1, DA -DOS PAM 738-750 - 571, 751. + Good working knowledge and understanding of applicable Federal Aviation and Department of Defense regulations. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and scheduling and maintenance management software. + Experience in working with and supervising a mixed fleet of light and heavy lift rotor-wing or multi-engine turbo-prop fixed wing aircraft. + Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work to meet customer deadlines. + Ability to speak, read, write and understand English. + Ability to sit, stoop, bend, crawl, crouch, and climb inside and outside of aircraft to evaluate, review, and or perform maintenance tasks. + Position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance. + Ability to perform any physical abilities required for the job. **Preferred:** + Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field. + Minimum 2 years lead experience. + Minimum 10 years maintenance experience. + Minimum 5 years' experience on company fleet types. + Minimum 1 military tour. + Department of State or Department of Defense aircraft maintenance experience. + Experience maintaining TMS ACFT UH-1H - UH-1H-II - UH-1N - UH-1ST Series. + Active DoD secret security clearance. **Compensation and Benefits:** + Salaried Position. + 40-hour work week. + Competitive salary. + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. + 401(k) retirement plan with company match. + Generous paid time off program. + Professional development and career advancement opportunities.
