Aircraft Hydraulics Technician
Job Title: Hydraulic TechnicianJob Description

Working in a bench repair and testing environment in the Hydraulics shop of the MRO component repair building, the Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify hydraulic systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. This position involves performing overhaul, repair, and testing of rotor craft hydraulic components and parts, fabricating and installing hydraulic tubing and hoses, and servicing hydraulic systems.

ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify hydraulic systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters.Perform overhaul, repair, and testing of rotor craft hydraulic components and component parts.Fabricate and install hydraulic tubing and hoses.Service hydraulic systems.Read and interpret maintenance manuals.Clean and inspect hydraulic systems, components, and parts for damage and wear.Replace or repair damaged or worn hydraulic components and parts.Fabricate and install hydraulic lines, hoses, and pipes using hand and power tools and tool benders.Utilize special tools and/or equipment to perform tests and checks as required to confirm hydraulic component or aircraft hydraulic system serviceability.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in hydraulic repair including manual tube bending.Experience in Hydraulic Component Repair/Overhaul in an I-level/Intermediate Level or Depot environment.Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals.Proficiency in fabricating and installing hydraulic lines, hoses, and pipes.US Person per client ITAR regulation.Additional Skills & QualificationsA&P license highly preferred, but not required.Experience with tools and equipment required for hydraulic repair.Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems.Why Work Here?Join a leading heavy-lift helicopter company with opportunities to grow into other roles. Initially, the schedule will be 5 days a week (8am - 4:30pm) for several weeks, then it will transition to a 4-day schedule (6am - 4:30pm), either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Oregon.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $52.00
