SUMMARY
The aircraft inspector is responsible for performing assigned inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with technical data provided by the manufacturers for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Verifies work performed on aviation articles is performed in compliance with manufacturer manuals.
Performs incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process and final inspections.
Review maintenance records, documentation, and logbooks to ensure all necessary repairs, inspections, Op-checks and documentation have been completed in accordance with the current approved technical data
May be authorized to approve work performed for return to service. Perform task as assigned relating to the privileges granted under 14 CFR Part 65.
Always observing company safety requirements while carrying out assigned tasks.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
FAA Certificated with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
Experience involving inspection, inspection techniques, and inspection tools with responsibility for certifying airworthiness.
Knowledge of FARs and Ability to apply and interpret Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Advisory Circulars, AC manuals, Policies, and procedures relating to aircraft maintenance and airworthiness.
Three years experience in maintenance and repair of airframes, powerplants, and systems of aircraft with takeoff weight of more than 12,500 pounds
Have been exercising their airmen privileges and actively engaged, for the last 2 years
Meets physical requirements of the job including twisting, standing, sitting, bending, and climbing a latter and able to lift 50 pounds.
Must read, write and understand the English language
