**Job Title: Aircraft Inspector**
**Job Description**
As an Aircraft Inspector, you will ensure the airworthiness of aircraft, oversee alterations and major modifications, and complete FAA required documentation (FAA form 337) for return to service. You will also conduct various inspections, maintain compliance with repair station requirements, and ensure the proper tagging and identification of all parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure the airworthiness of aircraft, alterations, and major modifications.
+ Complete FAA required documentation (FAA form 337) and return to service.
+ Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections.
+ Ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts.
+ Maintain compliance with all Repair Station requirements.
+ Make recommendations to the Chief Inspector regarding the company's capabilities within regulatory and contractual guidelines.
+ Ensure Quality Assurance functions comply with the Repair Station/Quality Control Manuals.
+ Conduct audits as directed by the Chief Inspector.
+ Ensure compliance with all Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Advisory Circulars, Supplemental Type Certificates, or Parts Manufacturing Approvals.
+ Establish and control aircraft ground handling licensing requirements and return to service authorizations.
+ Ensure all records of work are accounted for and correctly entered prior to releasing aircraft or components to service.
+ Ensure all required inspections are accomplished in accordance with the Operator's Approved Maintenance Program and regulatory requirements.
+ Ensure proper documentation of all work performed is complete and filed with Customer Work Order and Governmental Aviation Regulatory Agencies.
+ Perform facility audits to ensure proper techniques, address safety issues, maintain proper housekeeping, and ensure compliance with approved Repair Station/Quality Control Manuals.
+ Obtain proper certifications, testing, and documentation to ensure all materials meet applicable FAA regulations.
+ Inspect all aviation products and paperwork for proper certifications to meet FAA Standards.
+ Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
+ Sign inspection tags to approve units or log reasons for rejecting units and input data into management information systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Aircraft inspection experience
+ Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
+ Quality Inspection knowledge
+ Experience as a Chief Inspector
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Boeing inspection
+ Ability to document data consistent with company policies and procedures

**Work Environment**
This is a Corporate and Government MRO Facility that expects technicians to maintain a corporate appearance. The work will be completed in non-climate/temperature-controlled hangars with multiple Business Jets and Government Aircraft. The dress code includes neatly trimmed facial hair for men, black shoes, black belts, blue work pants, and appropriate shirts and hats provided by the company.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.25
