Job Description
Our client in Georgetown, DE is seeking 9 skilled interior mechanics to work on a customer VIP interior project. Candidates will be responsible for installing and maintaining interiors on BBJ 737 aircraft.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direction to Interior Mechanics with a thorough understanding of aircraft interior component removals and installations.Perform upholstery, cabinetry, carpeting, finishes, and paint tasks.Conduct interior modifications, designs, conversions, and retrofits.Handle post-delivery modifications, including interiors, systems, and compliance upgrades.Repair, overhaul, modify, and retrofit structural components.Reconfigure interiors and upgrade soft goods such as bulkheads, dividers, ceilings, sidewalls, upholstery, and cabinetry.Modify seats, in-seat power, and premium seating configurations.Install and maintain entertainment systems, monitors, LED lighting systems, thermal and acoustic insulation packages, and perform painting tasks.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience with VIP aircraft interiors, including corporate or helicopter interiors.Solid understanding of aircraft interior component removals and installations.Proficiency in using basic hand tools and equipment.Experience in interior removal, replacement, and modification.Possession of minimum required tools.Ability to perform other functions and duties as assigned.Willingness to work any shift and perform overtime as requested.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sheet metal, structural assembly, tooling, aerospace, aviation, drilling, fuel cells, and corporate jets.Skills in cabinetry, carpet installation, finishes, paint, component removal, installation, and blueprint reading.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.22 - $41.22/hr.
