Aircraft Logs and Records Technician

DESCRIPTION:\n

Logbooks and Records Technician supporting the US Army Parachute Team's Aviation Detachment manages all aspects of the Aircraft Notebook (ACN) Network and associated aviation records and documentation of site training. Proficient in performing all operator, data entry, and retrieval functions associated with US Amy aircraft recordkeeping. Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry. Transmits and receives data via internet and other electronic means. Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military detachment operations. \n

DUTIES:\n

Perform administrative duties related to US Army aircraft maintenance such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing, and typing; performing data base and system analysis; maintaining aircraft logbooks, and associated site training records:\n\nManage the unit's Army Aircraft Notebook's (ACN) and network.\nScheduled and unscheduled maintenance support documentation for 5 aircraft.\nUtilize DA PAM 738-751 when inputting aircraft forms and records as required.\nSolely manage ACN computer network, setup, deployment, and troubleshoot\/repair.\nProvide systems maintenance which includes data management and recovery of ACN Database. \nProvide on-site ACN training on procedures, roles, and responsibilities to government, and contract approved personnel. \nProvide Microsoft Windows 10, 11 and SQL Server 2019 support and maintenance; by using various utilities to troubleshoot, repair, and check configuration of servers.\nInstall and run monthly IAVA updates, SQL Scripts, and LCF updates. \nCoordinate installation of new hardware\/software: install, test, and monitor the operation of computer hardware and software: configure hardware and software to meet customer's needs.\nInstruct computer system users in the use of computer equipment and of applications, answer questions and assist in resolving problems regarding the methods and procedures for using computer applications.\nWork with Microsoft Office 2019 (Access, Excel, MS Word, Power point and Outlook) applications. Perform routine security maintenance by managing Microsoft Windows and Microsoft office monthly updates Assist customers in validation of aircraft historical records and logbooks being implemented into ACN (Aircraft Logbook) for accuracy.\nOther duties as assigned.\nPerform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance and on-site company training requirements such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing, and typing, and performing data base and systems analysis.\nTravel in support of detachment operations up to 30%\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\n\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent is required\nMust have a Valid State Driver's License\nMust have 3 Years managing a U.S. Army network, serving as an Information Technology\/Network Administrator, or served as a 25B (MOS).\nMust be eligible for Common Access Card (CAC).\nCompTIA A+ Certification is desired.\nMust have the capability to learn and comprehend corporate policies and procedures, along with their alignment with the objectives of Tyonek Native Corporation.\n2 Years experience working as Army Aircraft Notebook (ACN) Administrator is desired\nExperience as a Data Base Administrator is desired\nCompTIA Network+ & Security+ Certification is desired\n3 Years experience working in an Army Aviation Production Control or Quality Control Position is desired\n\n
