Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.
**Your Role**
+ Perform **ON and OFF wing maintenance** on C27J aircraft, ensuring compliance with **regulations** and company policies.
+ Ensure **maintenance documentation** is authorised, compliant, and accurately recorded within required timeframes.
+ **Report defects, deficiencies, and maintenance errors** to the Team Leader and initiate quality or defect reporting as directed.
+ Carry out maintenance **only within delegated and authorised levels** , following regulatory and company standards.
+ Promote a **safe and compliant work environment** , ensuring adherence to **work health and safety (WHS)** policies and procedures.
**About You**
+ **Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)** and eligibility for a **Baseline Security Clearance** (Australian citizen).
+ Previous experience in an **aircraft maintenance environment** .
+ Strong knowledge of **maintenance quality standards, defect reporting, and regulatory compliance** .
+ Excellent **interpersonal skills** , with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
+ A commitment to **working as part of a collaborative environment** and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
