Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Provides direction for daily operations of three MH60M phase bays. Assigns aircraft maintenance tasks and schedules to team leads and monitors prgress and delays as they occur. Monitors and approves timekeeping using computer tracking. Monitors and assigns training based off of established procedures and programs.

Responsibilities

Supervises aircraft maintenance activities for three phase bays.

Assigns tasks associated with aircraft maintenance.

Ability to plan, manage and direct a work force in the performance of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.

Supervises the work of aircraft mechanics, electricians, and structural mechanics.

Receives and reviews requests for maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.

Monitors maintenance and schedule performance and ensures all inspections, repairs, and component changes are accomplished.

Maintains records and documentation related to repairs made. Leads and directs the work of other employees.

Supervisors typically have authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions of subordinate employees.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen.

3 years previous leadership experience in a Rotary Wing maintenance environment required.

Strong written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

Very familiar with Microsoft Office products.

Solid knowledge of ACN, HYDRA, and forms and records process.

Specific knowledge of MH-60M platform.

Prior SOF Community experience beneficial.

Ability to determine priorities of scheduled and drop-in work.
