Qualifications You Must Have:
B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experienceTypically, 4+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience.Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and powerplant certification.Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance records digital software and databases.Basic understanding of releasing aircraft for flightBasic understanding of required inspection items (RII) process.Familiarity with aviation safety standards, FAA regulations, policies, and procedures and safe operating practicesBasic understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to serviceBasic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationallySuccessfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessmentAbility to deploy for an approximate 60/30 rotation.An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredQualifications We Prefer:
Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.DeHavilland Dash 8 200 experience.Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.Knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures.Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military. SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
