As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all aircraft repair and maintenance activities and ensuring those activities are performed safely, on-time, and within budget. You'll ensure all foreign object inspections and activities are completed, ensure projects are properly staffed with qualified employees and establish work standards, hours of work and appropriate shifts to be worked to accomplish work on small programs. You'll also review maintenance delays and system problems in order to suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures. You will have overall responsibility for the airworthiness of the fleet and will ensure safe and adequate maintenance is performed at all times with the exception of platform supporting programs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experienceTypically, 4+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience.Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and powerplant certification.Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance records digital software and databases.Basic understanding of releasing aircraft for flightBasic understanding of required inspection items (RII) process.Familiarity with aviation safety standards, FAA regulations, policies, and procedures and safe operating practicesBasic understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to serviceBasic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationallySuccessfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessmentAbility to deploy for an approximate 60/30 rotation.An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.DeHavilland Dash 8 200 experience.Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.Knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures.Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military. ​
