**Job Title: Aircraft Technician** **Job Description** Perform line maintenance at ORD for major carriers, focusing on Airbuses and 747s. Conduct on-call and scheduled maintenance on various customers' aircraft. Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases to return aircraft to service. Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, engines, and components. Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections to maintain equipment according to approved technical data. Ensure departing aircraft meet safety standards as per FARs and manufacturer manuals. Document all work performed. Collaborate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required. **Hard Skills** + Active A&P License + Basic tools **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Rosemont, Illinois. **Work Environment** Candidates will mainly work outside and will be given a vehicle to drive to each aircraft for maintenance. An office just outside the airport is available for training. Initial training is team-based, but candidates will work independently once fully trained. Night shifts are available with options of 4-day 10-hour shifts or 3-day 12.5-hour shifts.
