Aircraft Mechanic
**Job Description:** + Your tasks will include maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications, and fueling and de-fueling of aircraft. + You must be familiar with Quality Control systems and procedures as per the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual. + Efficient use of resources, completing maintenance paperwork, supporting the Aircraft Crew Chief, cooperating with the Customer Project Supervisor, and maintaining excellent housekeeping practices are key responsibilities. + You will also focus on zero defects in workmanship and safety, observe company regulations, and support corporate goals. + Maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing the 5-S system (sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain). + Present yourself in a professional manner and appearance with day to day contact with customers, guests and co-workers. **Qualifications:** + A&P License + Possess a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and in particular, CFR parts 43, 91, and 145; and 135 as required **Shift:** + M-Th, 10-hour days **OR** 5, 8-hour days - flexibility for both is ideal + Positions available on both 1st and 2nd shifts. + Some overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as workload dictates **Pay:** + $25/hr-$33/hr + Per Diem offered to those who qualify **What's in it for you:** + 6+ Month contract with ability to extend or go direct with a top employer in the area + Climate controlled hangar + 100 mil backlog in business reaching into 2025 + Strong health benefits upon conversion + Closed 12/22-12/24 for Xmas, and day after Thanksgiving + Generous PTO Package; 15 days of accrued PTO, 6 sick days, 3 bereavement days AND 4 floating holidays that count as hours worked for OT that week **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
