Aircraft Mechanic
**Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145's and CRJ 200's. The role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft, including aircraft engines and components, according to all specifications. The mechanic will document maintenance procedures, practice safety-conscious behaviors, and conduct daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft. Effective troubleshooting of defective aircraft systems and components is also required. **Responsibilities** + Perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145's and CRJ 200's. + Maintain and repair ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft, including engines and components, according to specifications. + Document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition. + Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. + Conduct daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft. + Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively. **Required Qualifications** + Minimum of 2+ years of experience on any type of aircraft + A&P license preferred, but not required for candidates with a good work history + Great opportunity for military personnel separating from service who seek civilian experience **Work Environment** Work in a non-climate-controlled aircraft hangar in Smyrna, TN, 20 miles from Nashville.
