**Aircraft Mechanic - Savannah, GA!**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft within the completions group, production, and service center. Under minimal supervision, you will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Communicate as required to receive and understand work assignments.
+ Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
+ Coordinate with MTL, STM, and the Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
+ Properly complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Assist with shift turnovers as needed.
+ Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
+ Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment.
+ Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely.
+ Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, etc.).
+ Coordinate, accomplish, and assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
+ Provide training to less experienced technicians.
+ Protect customer property (PTP).
**Essential Skills**
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
+ 2 years of aviation maintenance experience with an A&P license or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years working on mid/large size aircraft.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Valid Driver’s License.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft.
+ Proficiency in airframe, phase maintenance, troubleshooting, heavy maintenance, and aircraft repair.
+ Must be open to working any shift (days, nights, weekends, as needed).
+ Honorable discharge if former military, with a copy of DD214.
+ No failures or failed drug tests under a DOT program.

Must be open to working any shift. There are multiple departments, including service orientation working on live planes, flight test working on planes getting certified, and completions working on the production of new planes.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19/hr.
