Summary This job opportunity is for an AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC, position description D1736P01, within the 177th AMX of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. The primary purpose of the position is to troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, test and adjust aircraft ordnance systems, equipment and components. Qualifications General Experience: Must have the following experience(s); Repairing malfunctions of ordnance equipment and components Using sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specifications and engineering drawings Using test equipment to make electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic checks Specialized Experience: Must have 18 months of the following experience(s); Planning and laying out repair sequence to complete modification, repair and installation of ordnance systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions Using hand tools and a limited number of measuring equipment Using a variety of test equipment Interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications Education There are no education requirements for this vacancy announcement Additional Information Security Clearance Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance within 1(One) Year of appointment.
