**Aircraft Painter in Kingsman, AZ** **Job Description** Straube’s Our Client, a family-owned and operated aircraft painting and refinishing company, has stood the test of time, providing superior painting, refinishing, and detailing services for decades. The Aircraft Painter works under minimal supervision to safely prepare, paint, layout paint schemes, and detail aircraft according to schedule using company quality standards and operating procedures. **Responsibilities** + Safely prepare, paint, layout paint schemes, and detail aircraft. + Apply primer and finish coats, sanding, and prep for paint and other detail work. + Touch up primer and finish coats, including color matching and blending. + Use of spray gun. + Wear a respirator when necessary. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years experience in painting automobiles or aircraft + Experience with sanding, painting, and general labor + Proficiency with spray guns and hand tools + Ability to clean and prep areas for painting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Former Aircraft Paint experience preferred + Familiarity with blasting techniques + Compliance with FAA Drug Test **Why Work Here?** Joining our team provides you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience that is transferable to other segments. We do not have baking capability, and the work environment is more of a shop setting rather than a factory. **Job Type** This is a Contract to Hire position **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr.
