**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Quality Inspector with expertise in inspecting machined and composite aircraft parts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within aerospace or manufacturing and possess the ability to independently develop and validate inspection plans and detailed work instructions. The Inspector will support our client's supplier site in Marion, VA on a full-time basis as part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies sourced from one or more suppliers in this area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of composite parts and components at the supplier site in Marion, VA.
+ Perform in-process and final source inspections of mechanical parts.
+ Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.
+ Inspect composite assemblies utilized on 737 and 787 aircraft, including structures with minor metallic details.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of hands-on inspection experience with precision machined parts.
+ Proficiency in using various inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
+ Experience with the inspection of composite materials.
+ Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) experience.
+ Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience.
+ Capability to validate dimensions with total tolerances of .005” or greater using standard hand tools.
+ U.S. Citizenship is required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and aircraft inspection.
+ Ability to perform visual inspections using visual comparators and blueprints.
+ Knowledge of aircraft sheet metal and mechanical assembly production.

**Work Environment**
The position is based in Marion, VA, supporting a prominent aerospace client. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are available, with 10-hour shifts and a 50-hour work week. The project is slated for 6 to 12 months. You will receive comprehensive on-site training and support from inspection leads and engineering leadership. The work environment is collaborative, with a smaller team ensuring you are well-supported.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
