Aircraft Quality Control Inspector (C-130 Fuels Systems): Eglin AFB
**Classification Description** Assesses the effectiveness of the maintenance process and determines if QC maintenance evaluations are achieving the intended results, samples are adequate to predict trends, and/or focus needs to be redirected. Conducts the maintenance evaluation program. Performs Personnel Evaluations (PEs), Supervisory Evaluations (SEs), Equipment Condition Inspections (ECIs), and In-Process Inspections (IPIs). Oversees the TCTO, one-time inspection, and local work-card programs. Responsible for the overall maintenance ground safety, OSHA compliance, and Foreign Object (FO) inspection programs. Oversees emergency, mishap, and incident reporting program and assists the wing safety office. Manages the Maintenance Operating Instruction (MOI) program. Publishes a monthly Quality Control Summary to provide management with trend information identified through evaluations and other quality management programs. May be required to assist Environmental Control Specialists with maintaining the Hazardous Material Issue Point, by issuing and receiving materials. Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification. **Specialty Qualifications** a. Knowledge. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical principles applying to aircraft; concepts and application of applicable maintenance directives; maintenance data reporting; using technical orders; and the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous wastes and materials is mandatory. Knowledge of Air Force supply procedures is desirable. Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations and use is mandatory. b. Education. Completion of high school with courses in general science, mechanics, or mathematics is desirable. Completion of an advanced applicable aircraft maintenance course is mandatory. c. Experience. Qualification as Aircraft Quality Control Inspector is mandatory. A minimum of seven years of experience performing or supervising functions, such as installing, inspecting, repairing, modifying, or overhauling aircraft, aircraft systems, and/or components, is mandatory. **Special Certifications and Qualifications required for position** Must have a minimum a minimum four (4) years documented experience, preferably within the last ten (10) years, on C-130 Fuels system repairs. Formal QC training/certification required. You must possess the required qualifications in the attached job description. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
