Job Description
Perform inspection of aircraft engine parts, articles, and components to ensure product quality in accordance with Quality Management System. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and meet or exceed customer expectations. Collaborate with team members on development, deployment, and execution of Quality/Inspection department metrics.
ResponsibilitiesProcess incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Management System (QMS) and customer requirements.Follow FAA and DoD regulatory guidance to establish sufficient traceability of products and prevent the introduction of counterfeit and suspect unapproved parts.Understand product certification from the Production Approval Holder and certification for return to service (airworthiness).Conduct inspections including document review, visual inspection, packaging, shelf life, life limited records, and materials subject to electrostatic discharge (ESD).Review technical/regulatory data such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, FAA Orders, and Code of Federal Regulations.Use calibrated measurement/test equipment including digital micrometers, pin gages, digital height gages, and digital calipers.Essential SkillsA&P License5 years of experience in a heavy maintenance environment with at least 1 year in a Quality DepartmentExperience inspecting whole aircraft, not just componentsKnowledge of FAA regulationsExperience with Boeing or Airbus, preferably 737Additional Skills & QualificationsA&P LicenseExperience in troubleshooting, aviation, quality control, and line maintenanceKnowledge of powerplant mechanics and heavy maintenanceWhy Work Here?

Line maintenance environment with 600 touch labor employees (800 total). The position is on the 2nd shift, from 4pm to 12:30am.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
