Aircraft Sales Associate - Tom Wood Aviation

Tom Wood Aviation is looking for an Aircraft Sales Associate to join our team at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport. We help aircraft owners buy and sell aircraft. Tom Wood Aviation serves as an aircraft buyer, seller and broker consultant within the general aviation and corporate markets.

The Aircraft Sales Associate is responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for new and existing accounts. Activities include receiving and responding to inbound leads, developing aircraft specification sheets, assisting with aircraft valuation and market research. Position may require occasional travel by airlines or private aircraft.

The ideal candidate will be an instrument rated pilot with a broad knowledge of general aviation fixed-wing aircraft. Candidates should also possess a working knowledge of aircraft maintenance requirements. Candidate must possess strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and be highly motivated to provide an exceptional experience for aircraft owners. This is not a remote position. Candidate must be available to work from our location.

Qualifications:

Good communication, computer, and telephone skillsExperience with CRM softwareFamiliarity with MS Office productsStrong analytical skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyProficient with aviation terminologyAbility to adapt easily to new technologyMust be at least 18 years oldValid driver's licensePre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred:

BS degree in Aviation, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experienceInstrument-Rated Pilot4+ years aviation experience2+ years aircraft sales or customer service experience300+ hours of flight experienceFamiliar with aviation maintenance schedules and proceduresExperience with a variety of aircraft models and avionics
