Job Title: Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

Location: Denver, CO

Pay: $30-38/hr (depending on experience)

Overview: Join our family-owned and operated company in Denver, CO, as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and integrity of aircraft structures by performing aviation and backshop structural repairs and modifications on various Boeing military aircraft.

Shift:

6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)Overtime: Up to 2 hours a day, not guaranteed or required

Responsibilities:

Complete work orders and perform general repairs under the supervision of a lead technicianWork on a bench to repair, modify, refurbish, and fabricate sheet metal structural assemblies and sub-assembliesHandle a variety of fasteners, riveting, bending, countersinking, and precision drillingWork on structural components such as landing gear doors, ailerons, flaps, etc.

Skills:

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to aircraft maintenanceExperience reading blueprints and schematicsBasic mechanical skills and aptitude or previous training with sheet metalAbility to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated

Work Environment:

Large, climate-controlled backshop with a great work culture40 employees total, fostering a close-knit, supportive environment

Duration: 4 hoursIncludes a structural test, written test, and verbal interviewAll interviews start at 7:00am

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $33.50
